Emerald is an enhanced version of the previous games in the series, Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, and includes new features such as the Battle Frontier, which offers a variety of challenges for the player to tackle. It also includes new Pokémon not found in the previous games, as well as updated graphics and sound.

Story

The story of Pokémon Emerald follows the journey of a young trainer who sets out to explore the Hoenn region, which is filled with diverse landscapes and a variety of Pokémon. Along the way, the player must battle and defeat other trainers, as well as confront a criminal organization known as Team Magma or Team Aqua, depending on the version of the game.

Team Magma seeks to expand the land while Team Aqua wants to expand the sea, and their actions threaten to upset the balance of nature in the region.
