Polished quarters with balconies & golf course views in an elegant resort offering dining & a spa.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the exquisite Cameron Highlands Resort, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped through the grand entrance, I was captivated by the opulence and elegance that enveloped the entire establishment. The check-in process was seamless and handled with utmost professionalism by the courteous staff. The warm welcome made me feel like a valued guest from the very beginning. As I entered my room, I was immediately struck by the immaculate presentation and attention to detail. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and boasted breathtaking views of the surrounding cityscape. The hotel staff truly shone with their warm hospitality and genuine concern for their guests' comfort. They were always attentive, catering to every need with a smile. Whether it was booking tickets for local attractions or offering excellent restaurant recommendations, they went above and beyond to ensure a delightful stay.

The five-star hotel is situated in Tanah Rata and has a stunning view of the golf course. I was overjoyed to be welcomed by the amazing employees at Cameron Highlands Resort with many smiles and a heartfelt welcome. I felt nostalgic when I entered the Cameron Highlands Resort. It resembles going back in time to the colonial era. The hotel's appeal lies in its distinctive style, which combines classic English courtesy with Asian hospitality. I had the pleasure of sleeping in a luxurious room that was exquisitely decorated and featured a king four-poster bed that looked out over the lovely golf course. The adorable small balcony in my room, where I sat in luxury to drink my morning coffee, was also there. The rooms are equipped with a large ceiling fan and don’t have air conditioning, because the weather is so perfectly cool.

I can’t wait to come back and create more wonderful memories. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-notch experience.Sure will stay here again whenever we travel to Cameron ❤️

Cameron Highland Resort is a stunning getaway nestled amidst the picturesque landscapes of Cameron Highlands. The colonial architecture of the resort adds a touch of elegance to the overall experience. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and offer breathtaking views of the surrounding greenery. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant stay for guests. One of the highlights is the afternoon tea, which is a delightful treat. The resort's location provides easy access to nearby attractions, making it an ideal base for exploring the region. However, some parts of the property might benefit from a bit of refurbishment to maintain its charm. Overall, Cameron Highland Resort offers a tranquil retreat with a blend of luxury and nature, making it a recommended choice for a peaceful holiday.

Outstanding clean, spacious and beautiful hotel room. It smells clean everywhere. Room beautifully decorated for our honeymoon. Breakfast selection is great.Lunch selection for our taste too western and not great value for money. My Malay massage was excellent.Sitting by the fireplace in the lobby makes the fresh evenings dreamy. It feels like traveling in time. All Staff is very friendly and attentive.Only downside for us: Unfortunately all rooms are connecting rooms and our neighbour was video calling loudly each morning from 6:30 am and learning how to pray at night from 9-11pm, which was really annoying and disturbing our quiet.

Very nice place to stay. Food is very good. Breakfast is phenomenal. You can choose from the menu and can even add or change whatever you want. At night after dinner we have the lounge area all to ourselves and they even lit the fireplace. It was very cozy and we had tea and snacks.

Had our anniversary dinner here. Dinner was a fine dining experience and on the pricey side. Food taste was ok, there are more commendable restaurants. But, their service and hospitality deserves a 100% recognition.

We spent 4 days here and I have to say I was disappointed based on the other reviews. The Good:Hotel staff were really friendlyThe location is fairly centralThe free walk was really good and the staff were knowledgable on the history and surroundsThe Bad:Not sure if it was just our room but the road noise was loud with with cars racing down the road at night (its on the main road through the CH) - they provided ear plugs but i don't get the reviews saying its peaceful unless there are rooms with better soundproofing?Again might have just been our room but the bed was not comfortableThe food was quite a bit more expensive compared to other small luxury hotels in Malaysia (like the Danna, the E&O), the quality was just average and the options were limited.Think the hotel overall could use a bit of a refresh. Felt a bit tired but perhaps its meant to be a bit rustic. If you are a foodie there are lots of other options but you will have to drive to get to most.

Great hotel and arguably the best in the area. Stayed there for 2 nights in a room with a balcony, totally recommended. The staff is friendly and really helpful. The room doesn't have an AC unit

Really lovely hotel . The staff are all really attentive and always make sure you are comfortable. The food in the restaurant is 1st class and enjoyed the steamboat restaurant. We both had a massage and the masseurs were excellent. Overlooking the golf course and a 25 minute stroll into the local town is a good location. The road in front can be a little busy but didn't spoil our stay.

The hotel is truly of great heritage and living up to its 5 stars status. The services from the staff from receptionist like Chloe to F&B Myint and everyone are of highest standard. Will definitely come back to stay here again in our next Cameron Highlands’ trip. Its botanist Mr Mani did a great job to pique our interest to protect the rain forest and his wealth of knowledge about the great dissapearing of Jim Thompson

Room was beautiful and large. Very clean and staff were very helpful when I twisted my ankle by supplying ice in a bucket. Staff remembered our preferred breakfast orders and even followed up with my twisted ankle later that evening and the following morning. Very good breakfast included with many dishes to choose from and all delicious. Breakfast is included with stay and is all you can eat.

I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and peaceful hotel. The ambiance is serene, with an English-inspired design that adds to the charm.A RM200 deposit was required at check-in, but the experience was worth it. The staff were all friendly and extremely helpful. My room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and a clean, comfortable bathroom. It also came with convenient amenities like a mini fridge, iron and ironing board, and a hairdryer.Breakfast was served a la carte with unlimited ordering, though there’s no buffet. I highly recommend trying the Sambal & Cheese Toastie, it’s delicious! There’s a cozy balcony area to relax in, although my room (room 41) had a view of the rooftop.Overall, I’m very satisfied with my stay and would love to return if I get the chance. Highly recommended! ❤️

The stay was not satisfiyingThinking about the price we paid we got less than we would get for half the priceRooms were not cleaned well (dirt on the floor)Breakfast was very few choices, not much amount and not well tastingThe team was anoying: 3 people staying in front of the house. Whats theire job at all? 5 times a day carring luggage, the rest of the day they are watching what you are doing and waiting for tips

Experienced 2 nights in the Two Bedroom Suite. The room was sparkling clean upon my check-in, from mattress to the powder roomarea and bath; it’s challenging for me to put such a remark as I’m very particular about the hygiene aspect.Upside:1. Even though this hotel has a long history since its establishment, but the property is very well maintained, and modernised, while preserving the colonial traits. Design of the in-room washroom allowed it to be kept dry most of the time.2. Had breakfast and dinner in the Dining Room. Experience was pleasant. Especially the dinner, hosted by f&b captain Santhosh.3. Parking was convenient, right at the front yard of the hotel.4. Turndown service was pleasant and non intrusive.5. The other hospitality experience comparable to what I had with Cameron Highlands Resort, that I could remember having in Malaysia, was rendered by One & Only Desaru.6. The English colonial elements were evident throughout the property.7. Capsule coffee machine was fitted into the room. If you prefer coffee for daily fix than tea, this is a lifesaver.Take note:1. It’s a double storey property, without lift access. Doorman was helpful with luggage transfer. But you may need to take note, and probably make a special request for room assignment, if you will be travelling with a guest that requires better accessibility.2. Facing the main road, if you are particularly sensitive to noises, it could be a point of concern. To me and family, it was absolutely fine, when the balcony door and windows were shut.

It was a short but yet wonderful stay at the resort. You have a great view of the golf course from the balcony of the room and the environment inside the resort is well maintained.

The service from arrival, check in, check out, restaurant service and in between would be the best we have experienced - attentive, patience and well trained. The room is comfortable with a balcony overlooking the golf course across the road. The wood fires in the evening add to the warm atmosphere of the hotel.

Fantastic afternoon tea experience! Beautiful tea room in a super luxury hotel. We had the couples high tea and were really impressed with the selection and value for money. Selection of 4 types of sandwiches (×2 veggie options), 5 pastries, and 4 scones with local Strawberries and unlimited tea/coffee. As Brits we can certainly say this is definitely a great high tea! 130RM for the experience which left us leaving very full and happy with the experience. Service is 5* and the live piano player was a beautiful touch.

An absolute best experience I have encountered. The staff at the reception, at the restaurant, dining area, the servers, the cleaners, the head chef (Personally asked me about my food). Worth everything. The food was amazing. The room is beautiful. The staff well trained, polite and kind.I am definitely coming back cause honestly it was not enough I certainly wanted more.P.S: I actually noted down the staff names so I can highlight them. Unfortunately during my return I lost the names. 😔But again thank you for such an amazing experience.

The service was great and staff was very accommodating.Went there during Christmas and the decoration was up, everything was beautiful.Mind it there is a lot of stairs here, so not really wheelchair friendly.Overall price was abit on the high side, but the ambiance was great. Definitely good to indulge if you are up to it.Food for dinner was delightful, albeit the portion is quite small, lucky we are small eaters.Breakfast was very delicious, especially the hot chocolate.Delightful stay, love it.

For all that’s said and done, there is a thief amongst the staff. So expect to pay extra from what they will steal from your room. We had a wad of ringgit in the same bag as sg dollars, and they snatched just the ringgit. The establishment is also not at all committed to ensuring the same doesn’t happen again, and claims that we misplaced it. The money and the bag never left the room after we had taken some loose notes from the wad. Still, because they couldn’t locate it on the two room attendants that had entered our room, they’re claiming no responsibility, nor are they trying to at least get to the bottom of it. It’s disappointing to say the least, and we’re completely distrusting of anyone who is running this place. Would avoid at all costs, or it’ll cost you 1300 ringgit like it did us.

Alhamdulillah we stayed 3 nights in this beautiful, colonial themed resort about 10 days ago. Ma shaa Allah the golf course view and the flowers, greenery, hills and the fresh air with that cool weather...was really so amazing, Alhamdulillah. The resort is a beautiful experience for a guest. I loved everything about this resort except that they have a alcohol bar and they serve alcohol in their restaurants .Alhamdulillah as a practicing Muslim I felt bad and uncomfortable about this matter.I pray there were no alcohol in this resort at all.The food at the restaurant ( grilled chicken scallop with mash potato, pumpkin soup, feta cheese sigara borek moss salad, beef steak, Aglio Olio pasta customized with only prawn and chicken instead of seafood , all these items were satisfying and delicious. The breakfast is awesome. Alhamdulillah the menu is restricted to about 7/ 8 items but one can ask for as many as items as many times he/ she wants ,bi iznillah. Alhamdulillah basically the breakfast is a buffet type system actually, where you can eat all the dishes unlimited times as per your wish, bi iznillah. So eat all the items on the menu card placed on your breakfadt table as many times you wish, bi iznillah. From the breakfast items, Alhamdulillah, roti canai, highland omlettte ,dosa, were our most preferred items. There is a steamboat restaurant there too.Alhamdulillah its a different experience to eat there once during your stay . In my very personal opinion once eating at this steamboat restaurant is enough,bi iznillah, its absolutely my personal opinion. The high tea is decent and standard. There are lunch items at the high tea area restaurant too. The chicken fried rice at the hightea area was so delicious. The tea is unlimited and free in this area.Alhamdulillah rooms at this resort are nice and airy and bright. Bathroom is good too. Alhamdulillah bathrooms/ toilet has hand held bidet with hose/ pipe ( Muslim shower) attached on the wall . Alhamdulillah, Ma shaa Allah, the service people( restaurant waiters, guard, porter, house keeping people, everyone in this resort are amazing, courteous, friendly, helpful, sincere, dedicated, kind, warm and truly doing a very good job .. Alhamdulillah all most all waiters in the restaurants are very very helpful , well-behaved and supportive towards the guests. Alhamdulillah our experience regarding the waiters service, behavior, support were exceptionally good and truly memorable. Thanks to you all .Alhamdulillah, in short it was a pampering, restful, calm, serene, very good stay for us.

A lavish old-world looking hotel with balconies of spacious rooms overlooking an achingly beautiful little golf course across a pretty tree lined road, the trees lit by lamps on occasion. Several huge seating areas tastefully furnished with old style sofas and tables, some doubling up as tea and breakfast tables, a live piano, a snooker table. A large black and white decor drawing room with soft sofas and chairs, a sweet tiny library and a fireplace with logs burning for welcome heat in the coolth of the evening some 1700 metres up in the hills. Big tastefully furnished and inviting dining area where the spread is modest but each item is just right for tourists on the move. To crown it all, the young dining room staff ever cheerful and efficient. All in all, as good as it gets.

This resort has been my family's go to location to stay at whenever we visit Cameron Highlands. The location is strategic whereby it's close to two different towns for food options but still high up enough to enjoy the cool air. The price can be steeper compared to the other nearby locations but if you can afford it, I would highly recommend it.In house breakfast is offered as an option.A lot of local activities like trekking are also hosted and offered by the hotel. The decor of the place is European styled, thus aesthetically pleasing to stay at especially during Christmas with all the decorations. The hotel staff service is top notch. They do not hesitate to reach out to offer assistance. The rooms are comfortable and well kept, though I would highly suggest getting a room facing the front of the hotel for the best view.

Had a wonderful 2 nights stay. Requested connecting rooms with king and twin beddings and was fulfilled.Booked the pretty good value resident package with add on spa treatments.Rooms were very spacious and clean, while food was good too. All special dietary or food request were kindly accommodated. Though this is a very old hotel but well maintained. Great working team that loves to greet and chat with guests. The only negative part is the high steps you need to climb to go into the hotel. Did not see any wheelchair friendly entrance. But you can check with hotel which I am sure they will be delighted to help.
